Dervish and Paragon Canthan Armours.
Im not complaining about this being unfair or anything, but just thought it might be implemented in the game.
Seeing as the Sin and the Rit get new armour in Nightfall, maybe they might add Kurzick, Luxxon and Canthan armours. I can imagine the Gothic looking Kurzick Dervish armour would look awesome!
Another thing is that they might also add endgame Greens for the Dervish and Paragon in Cantha. Or in Elona.

not going to happen, they will not add new content in odl chapters for new stuff.
sins and rts get new armor cause nightfall comes after their chapter, just like paragons and ders may get armor in the next chapter. its how it works the newest classes will always be one set behind the previosu ones

Who says its new content? When they were making factions they were already working on Nightfall. They might already have the armors ready.

uh, are you not getting the definition of NEW. once nightfall is out, they arnt going to be updating factions with anything. just like they didnt update chapter 1
I can tell you right now its a fact that they wont get armor for nightfall.
by your same logic, they were working on factions when they had prophacies, so why isnt ther sin and rt armor there? According to you it should be. Your logic is so full of holes

If the trend continues they should get new armor in FUTURE expansions, not in OLDER ones.

They got Exotic armor, which was meant to be one set representing Tyrian Design, and they got FoW armor. My guess is that they Will get new armor in Nightfall, but possibly only 1 new set representing a general Elonian design of armor, in normal and 15k versions.

I can bet you 500 million dollers Anet won't do this.
Not only is it a waste of time, they didn't give Sin's and Rt's any new stuff Tyria. So why would they give Dervish's and Paragon's new stuff in Factions? They didn't do it before, and its a waste of time for the Devs. Although cool, it will never happen.

wait a sec, that isnt what the OP is talking about, he is talking about D and P armor actually being available within the cantha continent. That isnt the same as them having an extra 2 sets of skins within their own chapter.
Why are you talking about A and Rt armor being in nightfall, did you even bother reading the topic?

I agree with your argument, BUT the fact that you're being so...arrogant? is really a turn off.

the turn off was you arguing it...
they wont and they shoulding go backwards in chapters...
assume that the chapters are released in a timeline...not universally
Rits and sins cant presear they have their own unique armor to make up for that difference "exotic"
i dont think anyone here is arguing with your opinion, just stating the obvious... this has actually been something that was explained to us when factions came out... there was already this same topic with Rits and Sins wanting stuff from prophacies what we got as obsidian and the exotics...
if anything i would expect the same treatment... but all means if you want to be upset about something... remember the core classes get access to everything
also as far as we know the only way for you to even make a rit or sin is through factions so if you dont have factions you will not have access to that class....id expect the same trend to follow...
I also expect that not every chapter will have new professions... as this has been confirmed already still they are able to change their minds...
but imagine if they do such a thing for derv and para they will have to do the same for rits and sins... at some point it has to stop...
if you give p/d something in factions they will have to give rt/a something in proph then all the p/d will want something in proph too cuz its unfair... on and on... the line has to be drawn
that line is no content will go backwards in chapters other than universal areas such as FoW/UW and PvP the chapters progress not degress.... expect new stuff maybe for p/d in future chapters...

They didn't add sin/rit armor to Tyria. They may add Dervish/Paragon armor to campaign 4; but you're just kidding yourself if you think they'll go back and add D/P armor to Factions.

They didn't start actually making factions until after prophecies was released even though they had it in planning so they didn't even know exactly how Assassins and Ritualist were going to look to make armor for them yet but they DID start working of Nightfall when they were working on Factions so they would have got a chance to make armor for them ahead of time making it "new" to us but not actually new as it would of been available if we could play a Paragon or Dervish yet.

Although Exoudeous might be right (or wrong, because it wouldn't be the first time A-net changed something they have said before...) I still want to keep my hope high
Designing new armors (Luxon and Kurzick) for new classes means only 4 more sets...which isn't that much. Besides it might be of their interest to do it because I know quite a few people that didn't buy factions and everything that can make one by an expansion is worth for A-net ( $$$$ ).
So...hopes high fellow fighters !!

obviously no one can say no, cause we don't know.
however it would very well be cool if it was true and anet went forth to finally support all classes made in more ways than one chapter.
remember every new class gets its own obsidian -can u say GRIM REAPER robe?
how bout fallen angel armor?
im still wondering about halloween... if theres an event or what, i really hope so - its very much like kickin themselves in the face to us, do it once and give the impression of next year for it? but no show? lame if true.

Well, I just think it would be nice for each of the new classes in any expansion pack gets access to Kurzick and Luxxon armours. Don't see it as expanding and older version of the game, but giving each Faction a unique uniform. I can only guess that in future expansion packs the 2 factions Luxxons and Kurzicks will remain as the only 2 factions a player can join.
What would be nice is a short quest that would link a player, WITH Factions, to either the Kurzicks or Luxxons. The Obsidian armour given to the sins and rits, in you logic, would seem like updating older versions isnt it?

But they can still add Factions related armor in NIGHFALL, just like they did in Factions with Tyrian/Krytan Armor.
The Zaishen IS in Nightfall. Cantha plays a ROLE in Nightfall. So I expect Canthan armor in Nightfall. Just like I expect Tyrian Armor in Nightfall.
/Signed for adding Canthan And Tyrian related armors in Nightfall
